#1 - I can't remember what all the tech/engineer guy mentioned. But I'm
guessing that there's a trade-off involved. The new Gundams probably get
things like the ability to distribute GN particles over a wider area, but it's
specifically mentioned that the drives can't charge themselves. So far the
only area that the engines in the new Gundams seem to be more powerful is with
the ability to distribute GN particles. The other capabilities seem to have
more to do with the Gundams themselves than with the drives. For instance,
Virtue has already demonstrated that it can generate a very powerful beam when
needed. Presumeably if it had another Gundam plugged into it for a back-up
power source, it could sustain its beam over a period of time as well.

#6 - You're correct about the civilians in a military infrastructure target.
Just ask the Allies during World War 2. There was one CRITICALLY IMPORTANT
thing that wasn't mentioned or shown, and I suspect that the writers didn't
think about it. Launching a surprise attack on an ammo plant is very dangerous
because of all the ammunition that's presumeably on site. I think that there
should have been a number of very large explosions, as opposed to the general
"everything is on fire" that we saw.

How odd that pseudo-GN drives seems to be more powerful than GN
drives. Unless ep.16's one-sided result was due to timing and
surprise?

Graham seems to make a big deal about it. But isn't it in general
accepted that civilians working at munition depots and other military
sites considered legit targets?
