Hi Roeland, Actually I think my proposal would break most use of the Internet, commercial or not. The reason I made the suggestion was to demonstrate to some people on the list that a technology might support a certain type of use, but if significant numbers of people won't use that technology that way, it won't be used. Also, I'm trying to illustrate that the people who frequent these lists, for the most part, are hard-working professionals who are bound by the ethics and accepted practices of their profession. There seems to be a feeling among some folks that the Internet professionals are a closed sect who make arbitrary decisions and then pronounce them as laws, with no consideration for anyone but themselves. I hope I have not provided too much of a distraction. --gregbo
