I think most of us just have a problem with the fact that we have to find out
about this from the news media rather than ICANN CC'ing a copy of the
announcement to the relevent lists.
ICANN has continuely failed to do this on numerous matters of some importance.
Common courtesy dictates that this be changed.
If the lines of communication are not openned now, how do we know they will be
open later? We have to see some effort from ICANN to communicate with us
interested participants and keep us abreast of events in a timely manner.
