Hi Esther -- A respectful suggest:

Why not presnt the community with a list of things that ICANN is
uncertain about and let us help generate some certainty;-????

Or at least provide helpful (though maybe noisy) disucssion of the
related issues. WE see no reason for you and the BoD to suffer
through all this in the dark.

In fact, we are asking that you throw back the room darkening drapes
and let the sunshine in;-)...

So, let us help you, instead of keeping us in the dark too. It is
really hard to trust what we cannot see. And learning that you are
also in the dark does not help to build trust.

Cheers...\Stef

}FWIW, I'm genuinely interested. I am trying not to throw my (ICANN's
}imputed) weight around, to the extent we have any, so I try to stay brief.
}I want to urge the conversation on, not take it over. And I don't try to
}answer things to which there are no answers. There's a lot we/I simply
}don't know, haven't decided, etc. I try not to take myself too seriously,
}but to take this process seriously.
