If 100 people attend the DNSO meetings, which is 50% less than were
at Washington, that's five thousand dollars. I truly do not see why
we have to pay five thousand dollars in order to have a place to
discuss the DNSO. What is the space rental for the DNSO meetings?
There are halls in New York which could be had for one thousand/day.
I've been told that Singapore was an inexpensive place. I guess I
was misinformed.
And will the ICANN meetings cost the same? So that we are expected
to pay US$300 or more if we want to attend both the DNSO and ICANN
meetings? That is, US$100/day while the DNSO and ICANN are meeting.
Don't you think that's a little unreasonable? Not everyone can
charge it to their firm or their customers, you know.
