I note that these definitions do not mention domain names per se:
are they "information for any Domain" or "data for a particular
registered DN" ?

Taking the opportunity to put the list in order of what I consider to
be legal precedence (and tightening up your phraseology ;-)), I offer
the following revision:

1.) REGISTRANT - Owns any and all information for any Domain
whether registered in any TLD name space or not.

2.) The REGISTRY- Owns the database for the management of
information pertaining to all TLD's that are contained within that
database.

3.) The REGISTRAR- Owns the information which relates to the
registrar's information services in any TLD name space for which
that registrar has permissions from a REGISTRY.

For example, I dont see any property here but the registrant's:

        Registrant:
        www.com, Inc. (WWW80-DOM)
           PO Box 9172
           Newport Beach, CA 92658
           US

           Domain Name: WWW.COM
