Considering that two of the major FidoNet developers (Vince Perrillo and
Bob Hartman) also worked on BitNet, I am not surprised. Vince has since
moved from Naugatuck to Redmond. Both of them were influenced by early uucp
work, as was Thom Hendersen (SEA) and Wynn Wagner III. This was 15 years
ago folks. It is no longer rocket-science.
