Jim, Greg and all,

  Jim Dixon is a somewhat out of date.  As I have said and has been
discussed on this and many other lists authentication through the
use of Certification technology from sever Certification authorities
is being done every day.  FOr instance I use on of mine nearly
every day doing online banking, and stock trading, as well a funds
transfer to europe.
