I don't have an issue with that, but with the fact that all this
information must be made public to all and sundry. The SOA
information, which can be generated by some SQL statements is all that
is needed to contact the domain staff.

PUBLISH is different from HANDING OVER to NSF/NTIA/USG.

Yes, you are quite right, I have no idea.
I am only the ccTLD Administrator of the third largest IP network in
Africa and have been since sending in the original registration in
1991. :-)-O

It's generated by SQL statements from the same database. It does NOT
need those names and addresses, which can in any case be made
available as RP records.

NO, that is clearly NOT true!
As I said before I personally think that in the end NSI will have to
fork it over to USG. But not because it is not it's property but
because they may have a contractual obligation to do so.
