Esther,

I do not want to read or understand this statement out of context, as I
think I understand what you were thinking of when you wrote that (world
government is abhorrent, whether democratic or not) but since I have been
striving very hard in the last few years to make putting things to a global
vote a possiblity (for special interest organizations), may I invite you to
modify that statement?

How about the global vote for ICANN AL-members?
How about a global vote electing representatives or spokesmen for
stakeholders of very special interests, such as Domain Name Owners?
How about a global vote ratifying the bylaws/rules of an organization such
as the Cyberspace Association or --perish the thought<g> -- ICANN?
