Yes, that you can't just go to applications and remove said unwanted

I have yet to find one I really like. Most times when I want to kill a
task, launching the task killer/manager/etc tends to be a pita just to
get to where I wan to kill a service.

Thankfully either later version of Android 2.x or might be something
specific to Cynanogenmod not sure, but all those controls are there by
default now and controllable. I think its part of ADW, which is a
default for Cyanogenmod.

Might need to look into those two things.

Hopefully I can avoid such, but had links like that in the past. Had to
install another app just to be able to make links like that, anycut.

Thats something I need to look into more.

Others will have to comment on such, I haven't spent any time there just
yet.

Interesting stuff, probably could fool the phone into local things for a
variety of things. Like stopping auto completion while your trying to
type and its not helping you trying to fill in things for you :)

Funny how things we make to help us out just get in our way...
