Well anyone taking time away from work should be running that through
higher ups, the boss. Most employers will find it beneficial to them to
have their staff attend such meetings. Its not difference than
conventions or expos, which are always held during the day, and most
times not free to attend :)

FYI we do have an offer along those lines from ITT Jacksonville. Who is
a block over from Peak10

That is always an option, but we are in one of the largest cities land
wise in the world. Surely the largest in the US, short of a city in
Alaska, which most of the territory is uninhabitable.

I am surely not opposed to such.

Definitely open to those places, but even better would be companies or
education institutions hosting the lunch, etc. There is nothing to be
gained from a technological perspective at most restaurants, bars, etc.

One thing thats nice about Peak10, is people can tour and learn about a
data center. For many that will be their first experience, and for some
maybe their only.

Yes evenings can be difficult to manage, though I think thats when a
majority of user groups meet.

Nice, though I was thinking we have a new problem there. How do we
display the presentation and presenter? Not sure how remote viewers will
be able to see and read slides. Definitely have some things to work out.

But great for someone to be taking the initiative. Let me know how I can
help out, if needed.
