I've seen the same thing in my testing--performance isn't there yet.
Its really the initial creation of your
components that I think most people use this type of thing for. So, why
take a continuing (fairly serious) performance hit, just to save yourself a
little time (that can be quickened with other generators out there -
FlexBuiler/CFPT - etc)
This was the final straw for me as well--you're taking a *continual*
performance hit for something that once it's built out is pretty
static.
