Guess I didn't realize how new the Modules stuff was. After reading through it, it still "seems" like the best method.

Basically, Flex by default uses lazy loading which the components are not created until they are shown for the first time. In that case, what ever parts of the app your users are not using wont be in memory anyway. The over all size of these apps are small anyway.. Like I said, its all in how you build it.
