Another time you might consider
multiple workspaces is when you have clients that have many different
projects you do for them, that are easier to manage when you can only
see them.
I set up seperate workspaces for many clients because they have Flex
projects for all their media players, etc. CF projects for their
multiple sites, and some settings that are just more common for me to
use when working with their specific stuff, such as subversion
repositories, views, etc.
More straightforward example:
Sometimes you have a client that uses subversion and another that uses
CVS, so you can customize your CF perspective for each workspace so it
shows you the CVS view in one client's workspace and the SVN view in
another client's workspace.
Eclipse comes with endless flexibility which can be confusing, but it
is very useful to keep you organized. Just wait till we go into working
sets hehe.

I've noticed in the latest versions of CFEclipse that there is a tool
bar just above the editing window but below the tabs that represent my
open files. That tool bar has it's own tabs: CFML Basic, CF FLow,
CFDocument, CFML Advanced.
Can someone tell me how to get rid of that thing? It's just taking up
space and I don't use it.
Also, I know there's been a discussion of favorite plug-ins, but I'm
wondering more specifically peoples preferred methods of obtaining
Eclipse itself? I've recently used the distro link from
eclipse.org to
build my own custom package. There were a number of links to sites that
provided these pre-built or build 'em yourself distrobutions, and
specifically I used Yoxos. Does anyone else use these sorts of pre-built
distro's?
Incidentally, the CFEclipse and all CF related plug-ins (at least at
this one particular site) are being grouped under the heading "Web"
while PHP gets listed under Programming Languages > Other. Just one
more example of folks not believing that CF is a programming language.
