Jeff, you realize that we don't meet in downtown Dallas right? :)
After countless discussions on this matter, it has been decided that we will try to keep the meeting location in generally the same area we are meeting currently. Moving to other areas of the metroplex is not on the table for discussion at the moment. There are at least 3 people that I am aware of that attend every meeting driving 30-40 miles from the north/northeast, myself included, which is roughly the same distance as many in Tarrant County that show up ritually at every meeting. I think it would be difficult to make a case for turning that in to 60-70 miles for one or the other. Just to chime in here, I am based out of north Frisco, so most of the time having meetings in downtown Dallas prevents me from making it and Ft. Worth would be even worse. From a geographic standpoint, DFW is really too big for a single CFUG, but that is another debate.
