The fact that we are looking for a new meeting location has to do only with our attendance numbers, which have almost doubled in the past year, and nothing to do with changing to a different part of town. There is no plan to fracture the group at this time into two areas, and I would really hate to our CFUG splinter into two groups. I already drive almost 40 miles to the meeting now, and making tacking on another 25-30 just simply isn't going to happen, and from a time commitment standpoint, I am not able to double my current time commitments to cover two groups, including finding two sets presenters (and preparing presentations), taking care of two sets of giveaways, and taking care of sponsors. As the manager of this CFUG, that would mean that I would be completely oblivious to half of what the user group is doing, and I cannot see that working very well. I will discuss it with the board and other key members, but I would urge you all to not expect us to form "chapters" for various regions of the Metroplex.
