Another thing you can do is add facebook.com to your dns server and redirect facebook.com to 127.0.0.1 or better set up a local webpage with a notify that facebook.com is inaccessable

If this is, you must configure WPAD for filtering the HTTPS URL. There are a lot of discussions about this subject, if is correct for flitering the HTTPs procotol 'cause its encrypted and another reasons.
