Hi,

It is the default rule and in my case I did not create any other rule just
single Rule in LAN. The default one. I have tetsed with 3 PCs and it seems to
be working. Try it and share your feedback.

Download speed from my ISP is 2Mbps and Upload is 512Kbps.

1.) I have created limiter as follows.

Checked Enable
Limiter name: TotalIN
Speed: 512Kbps
Mask: None
Save

Now I clicked on Add new Queue under my newly created Limiter "TotalIN"

Checked Enable
Queue Name: PerIP-In
Mask: Source Addresses
Save

Now I have to click new limiter for download speed

Checked Enable
Limiter name: TotalOUT
Speed: 2048Kbps
Mask: None
Save

Now I clicked on Add new Queue under my newly created Limiter "TotalOUT"

Checked Enable
Queue Name: PerIP-Out
Mask: Destination Addresses
Save

2.) In Default allow LAN to any rule. I have selected in advanced In/Out
section PerIP-IN and PerIPout .

Nabeel

Hi Nabeel,

Did you have to create a new rule for the LAN for this? Is it the very first
rule? Could you please explain to me how you did it?

Have you tested it/monitored and seen that it is actually portioning the
bandwidth accordingly to the number of clients/hosts connected?

Hi,

Thanks once again, I have created it successfully and it is working for me now.
I have 2Mbps download and 512Mbps upload. In my case I have to put on TotalOut
2048Kbps and at TotalIn 512Kbps because I have applied it on
Firewall->Rules->LAN.

Nabeel
