I'm learning tons from this post too ;) I've got an un-sync'ed 303 just waiting to be used in my studio.

Sjoerd, or anyone who knows, which Kenton product does both Sync-24 *and* midi-to-CV? Do any require modifying of the 303, or just external controll boxes? I'm hoping to stay away from modifying it!
Thanks
-Tim

Tom,

>>BIG thanks to everyone who replied, very useful advice. Running it is step
with the other synths is what i'm after & using the internal sequencer to set
the notes etc.. So which MIDI clock signal to Sync-24 signal converter module
do you think is the best value for money, that is good for just keeping
everything in time? Thanks again for your answers.<<

Check out the Kenton web site for the more recent versions of the box I've
got (Pro2). There's a cheap basic one called Pro Solo which would do the job, or
the more expenive Pro 2000.

Alternatively have a look on Ebay. The Pro 2 does what you want. Should cost
less than 100 pounds secondhand. I use it to drive a 303 and a 606 from a midi
source, using a splitter cable that gives you two Dinsync ins from one out
(also available from Kenton). The Pro 2 also has CV/Gate outputs too so it can
drive other synths, though I haven't tried to do that with it.

Cheers

Mark
