Can you give a code example of how it is that you're using your DL? What's the term, what's the description?

From earlier in this thread:

Site Name

Site Tagline / Description

So what would you do if there is no tagline/description?

That is a valid question. Based on marketing research, articles and Steve Krug's book, I don't know if a business site should be served without the tagline. The tagline conveys almost all the meaning as most company names are memeless or evoke no reaction from the site visitors. If visitors are arriving at a site from an external link to a subpage they should be quickly oriented to the name of the site and the purpose of the site/company/organization/product/service etc. through the use of a tagline. If in the case of a ubiquitous brand like amazon or google a tagline may not be required. I think for most of the clients I will deal with one should exist. A tagline should not be a slogan or a mission statement but a brief description that defines a site/company/organization/product/service etc.

In each case the site/company/organization name is modified by the tagline to give meaning. It is not yet a ubiquitous brand as is google or amazon or ebay. It requires reinforcement through definition hence the
.

Thoughts?
