The only silly question is the one that isn't asked Sharron. ,<dl> is the opening tag for a definitions list, <dt> is the definition type and <dd> is the definition data. Among other uses, very handy for doing a glossary for example.

Kind regards,

Ric

Sorry for what for some may be a silly question, but may I please ask, <dl>, <dt> and <dd> and their closing tags, what are they?

Can you give a code example of how it is that you're using your DL? What's the term, what's the description?

 From earlier in this thread:

<dl>
<dt>Site Name</dt>
<dd> Site Tagline / Description </dd>
</dl>

So what would you do if there is no tagline/description?
