This is my nave observation on folder names in IMAP. I'd like to
avoid using "namespace" or "separators" as the terms aren't dear
enough to me. I don't use IMAP very frequently, but I do want to
provide the service to others. I'm a staunch proponent of using
maildirs for local delivery (relability), but I prefer mbox for
archival purposes (usability).

I feel very strongly that all my incoming mail (maildirs) be stored
in leaf nodes within my directory structure. I understand there
is no strict policy against polluting a maildir with other things
(like maildir subfolders), but I still prefer them as leaves.
How then, can bincimap play nicely in my environment? I might
like to have my (incoming) maildirs as:

    ~/Maildir
    ~/mail/list/bincimap/Maildir
    ~/mail/work/frieswiththat/Maildir

Is this bane to the bincimap author and/or community?
