Following up on this one - I found that there is a FreeBSD port called gnugetopt. If this allows us to use getopt_long, I'd like to remove the short options altogether. Is this something we can look into? Meaning - could you (or any other FreeBSD'ers on this list) try installing this library and see if it works with Binc?
