Thanx. I managed to disable the ISO-8859-1 support in squirrelmail's
filter plugin, and this resolved the error. :) This did not completely
resolv my problem, though, but that is a question for the people on
squirrelmail's plugin list - i'll not bother you with that. Thanx for
the reply. :)

Btw - these other messages in my log - are they normal? They do not seem
to have any effect, but what do I know, eh? ;)

/var/qmail/bincimap/bin does exists, and I've even made it world
writable to see if that helped. No go. The others I haven't the
faintest.

Emne: Re: [bincimap] Squirrelmail and filters

IMAP servers don't have to support character sets other than US-ASCII
according to the standard. At the moment, Binc does exactly this, and
responds with a NO reply (I hope!) when Squirrelmail wants to search
using the ISO-8859-1 character set. In light of this, the best thing
would be if Squirrelmail retried the request using US-ASCII when it got
a NO reply as Binc gave above. You might suggest this on the
Squirrelmail list.
