Hi, Tom. I also used IMP with Binc for quite a while and thought it was too slow compared to, for instance, sqwebmail. Then the server was upgraded with more ram, and there was no problem anymore. Wether this is Binc or IMP being inefficient, I don't know for sure, but I know that all other IMAP clients I tried worked fast and fine before the upgrade.
