Robin, And to all involved in this conversation.. I've been following it the last few days. I also have experienced the same problem... I am currently running: SquirrelMail 1.2 with Bincimap and all is well supporting around 40,000 customers.
However, when I try to upgrade to SquirrelMail 1.4 it BOOOOOOooogggggggs down, to the point that it's unusable, and as a result I've been unable to upgrade to 1.4... so I'm now begining to look at courier-IMAP since it does work with that... but I'd like to stay with binc if possible... ~ Matt On Mon, 2003-08-04 at 19:36, Robin Bowes wrote: > > > > So, squirrelmail is doing a "LIST" for every folder I'm subscribed to. > > That's 198 folders! > > > > Next step is to find why it's doing this with bincimpa but worked OK with > > courier-imap. > > To make this more clear, I've found that squirrelmail does the following > when I login: > > LOGIN > LSUB "INBOX/" "*" > LIST command for every subscribed folder > LSUB "INBOX/" "*" > LIST command for every subscribed folder (2) > LSUB "INBOX/" "*" > LIST command for every subscribed folder (3) > LSUB "INBOX/" "*" > [Retrieves headers for messages in INBOX (INBOX folder is displayed by > default)] > LSUB "INBOX/" "*" > LIST command for every subscribed folder (again) > > And that's before I start using mail at all!! > > Something's wrong here.
