so I just built win7 x64 OS only fully patched with .NET451 that took some time (couple hours ~3) the OSD process then takes about 1.5 to 2 hours including the apps in the task. we do not include apps in our image os and patches and .NET thats it. Makes for easier maint, say update the patches quarterly for the OS. that is what kills OSD is the OS patches.
