Can you remove the user from the targeted deployment collection? And then  
refresh the user/machine policy. I hope you’re not targeting all users or all 
workstations.

You can set the app to disable notifications, but it will still show up in 
software center.

The only supported way I know of to get it to disappear is to uninstall the 
client, delete the machine object, and then reinstall the client
