Well, this stinks. If we disable notifications, how do users get notified when we make an application available to them? MS didn’t think this one through.

We just set everything to not show notifications and live with it being in Software Center. It is confusing. Once you request something from the app catalog a machine policy is generated to perform the actual install. This is why you will not get tthe notifciation on a machine that you have never installed the software on. ----- Dwayne Allen [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> (479) 310-0027<tel:%28479%29%20310-0027> On Mon, May 11, 2015 at 12:19 PM, Roland Janus <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: That request is user based, maybe uninstalling the client wouldn’t do much. You can set the app to disable notifications, but it will still show up in software center. The only supported way I know of to get it to disappear is to uninstall the client, delete the machine object, and then reinstall the client ----- Dwayne Allen [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> (479) 310-0027<tel:%28479%29%20310-0027> On Mon, May 11, 2015 at 10:40 AM, Murray, Mike <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: I think I’ve asked this before, but is there any way to remove a user’s application catalog request? We have a user that requested an app he no longer wants, but the software center keeps nagging him that there is software available to install.
