We buy System Center Datacenter CAL’s for our Hyper-V hosts, and standard CAL’s for physical servers. We then get the Client CAL that gives you ConfigMgr client and Endpoint protection. There is a system center CAL for clients that gives you everything (VMM, SCCM, SCOM, SCHOR, DPM, SCSM). That one is way more than the client cal. I want to say that Client CAL for us is around 16-20 per PC, and the System Center CAL is north of 40 per PC. I’m not sure what the actual program costs if there are any.
