You don’t need a license for setting up SCCM on servers, no matter how many 
servers you need to put it on to manage SCCM.  Now if you use SCCM to manage 
those servers, then yes you need a server license.

The ML is for the ConfigMgr server itself I think. You need CAL’s for your 
desktops. It’s device based.

We do not have any CAL's ? I am in a confusion to chose with CAL or ML.
I am not sure how the price would vary if we go with User based or Device Based?

Our Symantec Altiris licensing is going to expire june end and Instead of going 
with Symantec, I am proposing SCCM...
