Hi,

I've already tested to rename the filename extension to lowercase and it worked
fine.

Many thanks for your help!

I believe this is a bug, caused by the name of the WIM file being in upper case.

The challenge is changing that to lower case. To try it out, open up
D:\Deploy\Control\OperatingSystems.xml using Notepad, search for the file name
in question, and change the ".WIM" to ".wim", then try to update the media
again.

Thanks,
-Michael

Subject: [MDT-OSD] - MDT 2013 U1 - Bug??

Hi Folks,

I'm facing a weird issue with MDT 2013 U1. When I try to update the Offline
Media content the MDT is trying to split the WIM file but it seems that is
using the wrong command line:

Starting MDT Media Update
Opened the media deployment share.
Error detected running command: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows
Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools\AMD64\DISM\dism.exe
/Split-Image /ImageFile:"D:\Deploy\Operating Systems\W1651104_1\W1651104_1.WIM"
/SWMFile:"D:\Deploy\Operating Systems\W1651104_1\W1651104_1.WIM"
/FileSize:4095' Exit code is: 87
Error text is: Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version:
10.0.10240.16384 Error: 87 The parameter is incorrect. The DISM log
file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
BcdEdit returned an error.

Its trying to save it as WIM instead of SWM ?!

Anyone has faced the same issue? Do you know where is this command line stored
in order to fix it?

Thank you,
