That was the first thing I checked. Also I disabled the site backup task in SCCM on Monday but the SQL backup service and the VSS service are still running.

I tried stopping both and evening setting them to disabled but the keep getting restarted and have been running continuously at least since Monday. The site seems to be functioning ok despite the issues I was able to create and distribute a test package Collections and inventories seem to be running reports as well. While my group manages sccm there is another group that manages all of the windows servers in the field (distribution points) so it is possible a change was made that broke the remote connectivity but it would have been “off book” and no one from that group is owning up to it. Online searches have not provided any help. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
