I know that this is a bicycle with "usable pedals, but with the faring and the fact that it was able to go 58.6 mph; I believe it deserves notable mention. It was able to do this with the a sequential Rohloff 14-speed gearing system they were using, two 500W motors, and a 48V at 40A using NIMH.
