Some additional LSR tidbits I found today.

Bonneville is about 5000 feet above sea level. ICEs have significantly reduced power in the thinner air. EVs don't care. In fact, the thinner air reduces wind resistance.

Bonneville is often 100 Degrees in the summer. ICEs have significantly reduced power at these higher temperatures. Provided the EV motor/controller is cool enough, batteries love these higher temperatures.
