If you're talking about the D&D sepex then I think it is a nice motor. I use a
D&D in my first conversion and like it, but it is a bit heavy and not as
compact as a pancake perm. mag. motor like the etek, lynch, or perm. It can
take a lot more continues amps though and since there are a long of long steep
hills here in Colorado I felt better about it. The guys at www.canev.com did a
bike with the sepex.

new, and really looking at ways to get
some better range, that is the only downside i see. in australia, there are
not many guys doing this, so i have to seatch for it all myself.

i am looking at the shunt motor that "thunderstruck" sell, as it also has
the power of regenerative braking, which will ass a small percentage to
range, has anyone used, heard anything about these???
