From the site:
The Elusion Model 54 is a fully electric motorcycle.
It boasts
regenerative braking and is capable of recharging
from a standard
120V/240V outlet in only three hours. Top speed: 145
mph.

Here's the link to the motor:
The HPD30 is listed at 40 kW and 2000 RPM.
With a 20" diameter wheel you'd get about 120 mph at 2000 RPM
With 53 horsepower they must be planning on a real slippery fairing.......

I e-mailed the manufacturer and asked if there were any US dealers.
I got the following response that suggests that they are not in production yet and prices the current motor at around $15k with the controller at $8k.
This could explain why the Illusion is pictured without a motor.....

The Mini QED was produced as a PML technology demonstration vehicle. PML does not currently offer a vehicle modification or retrofit service of the internal technologies but hopes to eventually be able to provide retrofit kits. This will not be available for some considerable time yet. From a cost point of view, the MINI QED has a price tag of GBP £200K which makes the vehicle uneconomical in 1-off quantities.

PML plans to attract private investment to take the technology used in the Mini forward to full production. The EW Series motors and Hi-Pa drive technology are the result of over 5 years’ research and development. The internal assembly is so modular that we can produce EW Series motors from 150mm diameter to a straight line using the same parts. The motors used in the Mini weigh only 24kg each, giving us a system which is 10 - 20 times the power to weight of any competitive alternative. (Please see bottom of e-mail for answers to some Frequently Asked Questions).

Today PML manufacture the direct drive in-wheel motors in various sizes and powers to suit many applications.

We can supply wheel motors and drives to be fitted by the customer to almost any type of vehicle. At present they are all being built by hand to customer order; nothing is available ‘off the shelf’. We quote for each application individually. (As a rough guide, the HPD30 motors are priced at GBP £7420 each and the master controller for 2-wheel drive is GBP £4000. This is the cheapest Hi Pa drive option available. Over the next 18 – 24 months we will be moving into high volume production for the automotive market. Prices will drop to around 7 – 10% of the current prototype prices).

If anyone's interested I can forward the whole message which includes a FAQ and some motor specs.
