Lookin at the rear wheel it does not look like a hub
motor, unless that is the "illusion".  It looks like a
standard spoked wheel with bracket for the sprocket.
It definitely does not looke like one from the pml
motor site.  If it is a hub motor, I will gladly
retract my earlier statement about being bogus.

I believe that is the Illusion,  there is no motor.
on the web page <http://www.illusionmotorcycles.com/id1.html>
they specify "motor-PML wheelmotor HPD-30"
When I searched for ""wheelmotor HPD-30" I found the page for the guys doing the 4WD electric Mini. The quoted top speed (140 mph) is about what you'd expect if you ignored aerodynamics and just multiplied the motor RPM by the circumference.
