Yup hub motors and their project vehicle is a four-motor Mini. I was thinking about whats in your average city pothole and running a motor through it. ick.
sand, trash, mud, unknown slime, rocks, bolts and so forth.If its sealed and watertight, I'd worry about heat. But I guess they'll work that out if it comes to market. 22's would make sense in this case.
