Teamworks Karting based in Birmingham in the West Midlands run a fleet of 
indoor karts using Etek motors. These things run in shifts all day, seven 
days a week. One set on track, the other set drinking current from Zivan NG7 
chargers at around 100 amps. They carry four Optima Yellowtops (55Ah) and a 
Zapi controller (I think) in a fairly conventional Kart chassis. They're not 
far off the weight of some motorcycle conversions and are geared for about 
40 mph.

The BVS has had a couple of sessions up there and a good chat to the staff. 
They're not having and problems with the motors other than catching brush 
wear before it causes damage.
