A while back there was a posting for an 8 fan assembly, turns out
the "second" fan does not run on 12 volts, not a fan, it appears
from the www.avc.com.tw site that the fan may be a hall effect
speed/fan

I haven't bought one yet. I did buy a 48v 235cfm fan that scares the
hell out of my cat. I found this on the All Electronics site. Does
it help any?
This product is designed for a 1U rack mount server. These are known
as counter rotation fans. It can move a VERY large volume of air,
but they are REALLY noisy. The wires are used for power, ground, and
fan speed. The blue and greeen wires return a clock pulse for the
fan speed; but they do not control the fan speed. The San Ace 40
9CR0412S506 is very similar.
