Thanks Mike For the time being I have put plastic sheet in place where the three bladed hall effect fan devices were mounted. I siliconed them on. I may buy another fan assembly but for now four fans will do. I have it ready to go on the motor, maybe this weekend if there is time. I did try the fans out with some clear tape blocking the large hole in the center where the brush cover goes, the fan shroud "floats" on a cushion of air. I am pretty certain the four fans will get the job done, if not four more fans can be mounted.
Kind of bummed after all that work to have the shroud look unfinished. Oh well. Sorry I can't make it to Portland, I will be near Ukiah, CA for big Solar fair, called Solfest, bringing my Franken'ceptor to display there in the alternative transportation area.
