I seem to recall a drag vehicle at at a Power of DC event several years
ago that had multiple E-Teks powering it. I believe it was Shawn
Lawless's Orange Crush? He also had (I recall) a dual E-tek Ural conversion.

I have 2 eteks and a D&D ES-33 that a friend let me borrow. A single
etek fit perfect, but it's pushing a '75 Gold Wing and probably
will be
underpowered. The pair of eteks fit, but it's real tight and will
take
a lot of extra work to make it work. The D&D fits too, but is longer
than I would like. So any of those options would work, but are not
ideal.
What I'm wondering is... has anyone built a successful bike using
6 to 9
smaller PM DC motors? The small treadmill 2-3hp ones I've seen look
cheap and I doubt they are as strong as they are rated, but would
they
work if you had enough of them? What are the primary reasons to
not use
them? And would a separate controller be needed for each?
Thanks,
Seth
