Actually hard tail matched with low range should be okay. Long range hardtail riders are far and few between (hence the trend to psuedo hardtails on the build shows to make choppers more useable). I met a hardtail owner in NE Atlanta who said if I saw his bike on the SW side of town it was probably stolen! lol (No offense meant to the hardy souls who ride HT bikes).
