Just a note- bike displacement is not very well related to overall weight. Gixxer 1000s weigh negligibly more than 600's, and about the same as large scooters.
Theres lots of sources for weight you can check. Sure touring bikes will be the heaviest, except for some Beemers and Ducatis and Aprilias, sport bikes the lightest except for some Beemers - it all depends. I suggest availability of cheap parts is a major factor. And 17" wheels maybe.
