IMHO - My apologies to those who like the barc-a-lounger on wheels, but that would be kind of a turd don't you think? You'd want to have a pretty robust motor, and that would take more amps and that would mean mo'heavy...
There was an Aussie on TV carried his dog (as co-pilot in a knapsack) had a HD Glide of some sort converted to electric but it was hardly nimble, and his range had to suffer. Ideal is probably a 250-350 sport bike but if you're tall a 500-600 looks more proportional. 750s start to add up the weight. 1000 and up is what I call turds (sorry). Find a complete bike with broken engine, preferably has title and good tires and brakes. Chasing down parts and rebuilding can extend your build time and frustration level.
