Subject: Re: Deerfield Beach Earth Day event

Hi Cheryl,

I just wanted to let you know how sorry all of us in the Florida Electric
Auto Association are to hear that you had to cancel the major festivities
for Deerfield Beach's annual Earth Day event this year, especially because
it is one of the best events we participate in for the entire year,
certainly the best attended event, where last year, for example, we must
have spoken with several hundred, maybe over a thousand people. Please be
assured that you can count on our support and participation if you are able
to hold this event again in future years.

As an alternative for this year, thank you for your offer to let us join you
in the fishing pier parking lot from 9am to noon on Saturday April 21 for a
small, scaled-down, informal opportunity to exhibit our electric cars. I
myself would like to take you up on this and join you there with my Toyota
RAV4-EV, as I am only 15 miles away in Delray Beach and I don't have any
other plans for that date. So far, it looks like I will probably be the
only one in our group to do so, but I will advise you if any of our other
members can make it.

Look forward to seeing you on the morning of April 21!

Thanks & best regards,

Charles Whalen
