Hi OzMOSS Citisens,

We have a MOSS Site that has a broken "Manage Content and Structure"
link. If I turn the stack trace on I get the following message:

Cannot complete this action.

Please try again. at
Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequestInternalClass.GetViewsSchemaXml(St
ring bstrUrl, String bstrListName, Boolean bFullBlown,
ISP2DSafeArrayWriter p2DWriter, Int32& plDefaultViewIndex)

bstrUrl, String bstrListName, Boolean bFullBlown, ISP2DSafeArrayWriter
p2DWriter, Int32& plDefaultViewIndex)

Other sites that are on the same server (but in a different hierarchy)
function properly, which hints at a content issue. So, we tried
restoring a test site from a backup, and then systematically removing
content, but the link never works again.

A look at the SQL Server trace reveals that the last query that is
attempted is performed twice, hinting at some sort of retry. Running
the same query from SQL Server Console succeeds without issue.

Anybody have any ideas?

We do have a number of sub-sites, which have sub-sites etc. The URLs to
the sites are getting quite long. Could we simply be running out of
space in a variable?

Cheers

Ryan
