Do you have an ISA server between the client and the host? Matthew Cosier Readify | Dev Centre Lead M: +61 401 932 250 | E: [EMAIL PROTECTED]<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Blog: http://cosier.wordpress.com<http://cosier.wordpress.com/>
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Crabbe, David Sent: Thursday, 4 September 2008 1:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OzMOSS] Issues with editing content on WSS sites using Forms Authentication Has anyone experienced issues with editing content on WSS when the site is using Forms Authentication? Editing or deleting list items works until the change is to be commited by click on the OK button at which point a "The page cannot be displayed" error is encountered. The technical information shows: Technical Information (for support personnel) * Error Code 64: Host not available * Background: The gateway or proxy server lost connection to the Web server. * Date: 4/09/2008 3:50:20 AM This same error is shown for other content editing tasks such as uploading documents. What is bizarre though is that it effects some pages, lists or libraries and not others. If I login using Windows Authentication everything works fine, so I'm fairly sure its related to the Forms Authentication. Any thoughts?
